We were in Las Vegas. My Grandma and Grandpa Webb met us there. We went to a show at a place that looked like a palace. We went to a chocolate shop. It had delicious chocolate. The place that we stayed had so many crafts for kids to do. We got to make snow globes out of mason jars. They did crafts every couple hours. It was my favorite part of our trip to Vegas.
So sorry we have not made a post in a while 😉. We went to see Temple Square. In one building we got to see beautiful pictures and statues. We learned a lot about the history of our church. It was so cool!
Happy New Year!! We had a fun New Year's Eve by playing a fun money game. We had cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory. We did not stay up late because we had been walking all day on temple square in Salt Lake City. Mom and Dad tried waking us to see the fireworks but we were all dead tired!
I was a little sad when we left Canada. I liked all the yummy A&W restaurants there were on the way! We had to go across the border and show them our passports. They also scanned our car for radiation! It was neat to me.
As you can see this part of our driving my family was getting a bit tired of driving, especially my baby sister! We still were having fun.
We hit a snow storm in Montana and ended up staying in the capital, Helena. There was hardly anybody there. It felt like the hotel was ours. They had a giant staircase. I felt like Cinderella. All I needed was some glass slippers!
They even had a ballroom so we made up silly dances in there after we were done swimming. We had fun!
Then we went to my Mom's home town. We drove by her old house and by my Great Grandparents house. My mom lived across from a graveyard. I thought that was creepy. Some of my family is buried there so we went and saw them. Then mom took us to an old diner that she use to go to a lot.
Hay ya'll! We have passed lots of farm and lots of hay! A lot of farms have pump jacks pumping oil. We don't see that in Alaska. We made it to Calgary yesterday. We stayed at a huge hotel that had a water park in it as big as H2O Oasis, (a big water park in Anchorage). It had two water slides. We had so much fun. My baby sister, Fishy had so much fun in the wading pool. The hotel had a restaurant, and we had a nice dinner after eating lots of meals in the car.
We have seen lots of animals such as lynx, bison, bunnies, moose, deer and caribou. When we were driving to our hotel we saw a huge beaver statue in Beaverlodge. We had to have a picture. In a small town we saw lots and lots of old road signs that they hung on a fence.
When we got to our hotel we put our swimsuits on and went to the pool. There was a big twisty water slide. I went on the water slide all by myself. The first time I went down I was a little nervous, but I still had fun. My little baby sister went down the slide with my Dad. She was screaming cause she was so happy.
We are going to the states. We are going to visit my family and go to Disneyland. My mom and dad surprised me and my sisters. We are so excited! Follow along to see our adventure.
For years my children have asked to start a blog. Many attempts and successes they have made, however now it will be under a bit more supervision from their dear old Mother! As you follow them, please note that this has been their desire for sometime. Cheer them on as they write and enlighten you on our crazy life adventures!
